Vintage Star Wars AFA 90 Vinyl Cape Jawa
The Vinyl Cape Jawa!
Originally released before the Movie came out back in the 70's, it was soon replaced with the more "real" looking cloth cape figure. Kenner thought that for such a small figure it looked cheap to have a plastic cape like the Ben Kenobi, Princess Leia and Darth Vader so they swapped it soon after the movie was released to make people think they were getting more for value for their money.

Furthermore, this figure received a score of 90 NM+ which is one of the AFA's highest grades and confirms this figure is in Near Mint to Mint condition.

When an items condition warrants classification within this level, the smallest of flaws are judged and taken into account to determine the exact grade received. The select few items which receive these grades are among the highest quality in existence. A very small percentage of items submitted to AFA receive a Gold level grade. An items flaws must be very minor, subtle, and can often be difficult to identify with the naked eye. A collector who is extremely condition sensitive should be satisfied with the condition of a Gold level item in the vast majority of instances.
This figure stored in a temperature and humidity controlled environment and never been on display. It still has the AFA packaging and the case and certificate are truly Gem mint!
