Conditions of sale

Due to a number of people who don't understand what secondhand and as is mean I have been compelled to write sale conditions. By bidding you accept and agree to all of the below conditions.

Postage is via Australia Post prepaid satchel rounded up to the nearest dollar to cover packing and is non negotiable. I combine postage and often additional items will post at no extra cost.

Ran when tested means the motor ran and the wheels turned for 10-20 seconds when wires with 12v DC were put to the wheels. Nothing more, not tested on track, not tested under load, not gauranteed to run forever. If you want something that will run with a full gaurantee buy new from a shop.

Untested means I don't have the ability to adequately test therefore may or may not work (According to ebay and certain intellectually deficient buyers I actually have to explain that untested means the item might not work)

The item is the item in the picture and the condition is as shown in the picture. By bidding you accept this and are satisfied with the item as pictured as it appears. You are bidding on the shown item as is, not what you imagine or desire it to be. If you need details clarified or can't see certain details in the picture just ask nicely.

Posting may at times be delayed because I am a shift worker and not always able to get to the post office because Australia Post stores are only open during traditional business hours. By bidding you accept this and accept that this may mean your item takes a little longer to get to you. You also accept that once the item is out of my hands into the post box or post office it is out of my control and all I can do is give you the tracking number (which sometimes don't scan in apparently) You also need to accept that whilst I am very thorough with packing sometimes certain Australia Post employees don't value your items as much as you and I do so do not show due care to them. So please direct all complaints about posting times, late delivery and damaged items to Australia Post as it is all down to them in the end.

I am not a business seller, this is an extension of my hobby, I am a buyer of trains too, the more I sell the more I can buy so I understand the frustrations but remember I am one of you. Whilst I value selling quality items and offering good service this is not my job and I have a life too. So do not send me aggressive, threatening or time wasting messages. I am happy to answer queries or try to solve problems provided you are polite about it. Rudeness will not be tolerated and I will respond in kind. So if you don't like how I respond to you take a look at how you have spoken to me. This is my hobby, I want to enjoy it, work is for stress, hobbies are for fun. I'm just here to pass my unwanted items on to someone who wants them.
