Presenting  prime example of a 1997 Fender American Standard Stratocaster in pretty rare Inca Silver w/ DELTA TONE .

This was a one owner guitar before I got .

It was definately well taken care of and not used much. There are a few scuffs. Some shown in a photo.

The mediim frets look never used on the.medium  "C" shape neck with a 9.5" radius.

The rosewood microtilt neck has  beautiul dark stripes on it.

Tuners: Fender/ Deluxe Schaller Keys Cast / Sealed.

The body is Alder and the cool Inca Silver finish aged to a mild green tint

I think its a polyester undercoat with a Laquer finish.

It has the Two point bridge with block saddles and power coated tremelo block.

Newly introduced for 1997 is the DELTA TONE System.

From Fender:

The Delta Tone wiring features

a no-load tone control for the

middle and bridge pickups, great

for producing just a bit more

midrange and hotter output

from the Stratocaster. The no-load

tone pot works like a standard

tone knob from positions

1-9, but at 10, it is removed

from the wiring completely so

that you get the full, unadulterated

sonic output of your pickup.

It means more output and more

treble without using a booster

pedal or active controls.

The bridge pickup is also overwound hotter for Higher output..  Lots O Fun here.

This American Standard pickups have Fender Alnico V Flat Pole magnets.
