Title page undated, The British Library date this edition of
Charlotte Bronte’s “Jane Eyre” to 1893, bound in the original bevelled edged cloth
binding titled in gilt to upper cover and spine7.25 inches tall approx., 462
pages, not illustrated.
The book was from the Bronte Parsonage Museum and given as a
gift by the then custodian of the museum Mr Norman Raistrick, with his presentation
bookplate on the inside front cover.
CONDITION
The cloth is noticeably discoloured with some patchy
lightening of the cloth, internally some occasional noticeable foxing and other
light handling marks, else in acceptable condition
