Austria; Nine Silver Coins. Here are nine coins ranging in dates from 1878 to the 1970's, and in size most are the size of an American half dollar.

Here are the coins (the grades are mine):

1878 Florin depicting Franz Joseph; .900 fine; ASW .3571, in XF. This is the most "numismatic" of the coins.

1973 25 Schilling; .800 fine; ASW .3322, in Unc. Portrait. Fields are proof-like. there is a small spot under the nose.

1964 25 Schiling; .800 fine; ASW .3322; portrait; in BU.

1956 25 Schiling; .800 fine; ASW .3322. Statuesque figure on obverse; XF.

1974 50 Schilling;.640 fine; ASW .4389. Flower garden. BU.

1967 25 Schilling; .800 fine; .ASW .3322. Classic depiction of Maria Theresa. BU

1957 25 Schilling; .800 fine; ASW .3322; Mariazell; a few small spots on reverse; proof-like fields. XF

The total ASW of this lot is: 3.0455 troy ounces. Silver at the momeent of this posting is $28.25 per troy ounce, and has been riding high recently. These coins sit on the intersection of numismatics and bullion.

The prices on the Yellow tags are ours for shows. They were up-graded recently to account for the rise of silver, but they are still a bargain.

Austria is a country with a glorious history. It was the center of a great European Empire for many years, and Vienna, the Capitol, is one of Europe's finest cities. I had the privilege of living in Austria for a year as a teenager. I made friends, drank beer (legally), and climbed mountains. Many years later, I returned to Vienna and still spoke passable German.

Grading:

Note – eBay may or may not add a sales tax depending on each state’s requirements. We do not collect it. Also, we list our items for mostly sales in the U.S. The postage noted is for U.S. sales only. If you are not in the U.S., please be advised that eBay will add a separate shipping charge for their overseas shipping from Erlanger, KY. Again, we have no control over that amount. Thank You.

All grading is our best opinion based on the official ANA Grading Standards for coins, Friedberg or Cuhaj for currency and Scotts for stamps. Please examine the photos closely to form your own opinion as to grade and bid based on that. We acknowledge that grading is semi-subjective and that a differ

ence of opinions can occur even among experts. If you decide to certify an item and it does not meet your grade expectation, that is a cost born by the buyer and is not a reason to return the item. This statement is not applicable if the item is already certified by a professional certification service like NGC, PMG or PCGS.

Authenticity:

We stand by the authenticity of every item we sell. We verify the provenance of our inventory prior to purchasing. We do not take any material we believe has been altered or we believe are forgeries. We refuse the material or destroy it if it is part of a large lot. If any coin, stamp or piece of currency we have sold proves to be a forgery or altered in any way, we will gladly refund your money.

Payment:

Payment is expected within 4 days of close of auction. If this time period is not met contact must be made to us as to the date payment will be made.
EBay will automatically open an “Unpaid Item Case” if payment is not made by the end of 4 days.
We use eBay Managed Pay services for payment.

Shipping:

If this item is designated for international sales, we will ship the item to Erlanger, KY and eBay will be responsible for shipping to the destination outside the U.S. eBay charges for shipping from Kentucky to the final destination. Those charges are totally out of our control.
To receive combined shipping on multiple items won, you must pay for all items with one payment. If you have purchased multiple items and are ready to pay send us a final invoice request so that we can combine the shipping to the required amount. We send out invoices within 1 business day after the auction is completed. A business day is defined as Monday through Friday unless it is a holiday commonly recognized in the U.S. Shipping will be made within 1 business day of payment receipt. NOTE to our non-U.S. customers: International First Class Mail through the USPS may take up to 3 weeks before you receive the item(s). Please wait 20 days before contacting us.
Shipping will be via USPS first class mail unless otherwise stipulated. This usually takes 3-5 days unless the item is shipped out of the country. Should you win multiple auctions, or plan on bidding across several days, please notify us so that we can combine items won into a single shipment.

Terms of Sale

Our return policy is simple. You are guaranteed to be satisfied. If you, as the buyer, are unhappy with your purchase, you will have 14 days in which to return it, no questions asked. The only exception to this deals with silver bullion. The price fluctuations in precious metals can sometimes be extreme, both up and down. When we sell bullion, we always sell under spot and let you know when the spot price was applied. If the price goes up, it is in your favor. If the price goes down, it is not a reason to return the bullion coins. Prices fluctuate – that is the precious metals market.

We are hopeful that the pictures and descriptions are such that there should be no reason to return an item. If you do wish to return the item for any reason, our return policy applies. If you do return an item, we will refund your payment minus shipping and handling costs upon receipt of the item or replace the item with an agreed upon substitute, again, after receipt of the item.

Should we feel that anyone is abusing the return policy such as sending back items repeatedly, it will be to our discretion as to whether to continue selling items to that individual.

Service:

E&L Coins strives to give 5 STAR service by providing quality coins, currency or stamps at a reasonable price. We state up front what our policies are, shipping rates and shipping frequency. When you give 4 STARS, it may seem like a great score for instance a 4 in Shipping Time means "Quickly", eBay, however, considers this to be a sub-par mark. Their standards require all sellers to maintain a 4.8 rating and above or be penalized with higher fees and more.
