This is my new model of Irish flute made from black PVC with aluminum fittings. It is made in 3 parts and is tunable. All pieces are pressure fit together. This is something that is possible only with a material like PVC. With wood you need cork or thread for the joints, but PVC doesn’t change with moisture and temperature like wood does, so everything fits together how it should and always will. So there is no thread or cork on the tuning slide or joints, the parts just fit together perfectly.

This low D Flute has been hand crafted by Nick Metcalf in New York, USA. Nick has been making Irish whistles and flutes since 1998 and has sold over 15,000 instruments worldwide! This is a single item listing. You will receive the exact flute that is pictured.

I will ship your flute usually within 1-2 business days of when the order is received. (I do not ship on Saturday, so if you order is placed on Friday it will ship the following Monday). In the US I will ship using USPS Priority mail which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive. International Shipping is handled by Ebay.
