Vintage Weidmann’s Peanut Butter STONEWARE Crock Jar

This is a wonderful piece of Mississippi history. Weidman's is the oldest restaurant in the State of Mississippi which opened in 1870. In the 1940's when butter was hard to come by a customer suggested peanut butter would be a good replacement on the table with the crackers. Weidman's still continues that tradition today. 

It is in great condition!  Love the look!
