This is an antique mirror with crackled white paint and a beveled mirror.

It is dated 1926 on the original tag in the back.

Overall it measures 15 1/2 inches x 23 1/2 inches (39.4 cm x 59.7 cm). The mirror measures 11 1/2 inches x 19 1/2 inches (29.2 cm x 49.5 cm). The molding width measures 2 inches (5.1 cm).

The frame section is made of wood. It looks like it may have been covered twice in paint. The first time in a very light yellow and the second time in an off-white color. If it was painted over, I am sensing the person did it when they originally purchased the mirror, as all of the paint is crackled throughout.

At one end of a short side, all of the paint has chipped off, leaving just the white gesso below showing. I have taken a close-up of this. Numerous scattered pieces of paint on the surface are chipped off, giving this a very attractive and unique crackled look.

The beveled mirror has the expected white dots and fogginess all over it. Still, you can see yourself very clearly.

The label on the back is marked JOHN J. KINSELL MFGS. HIGH GRADE. At the center it is stamped with a couple of numbers and then 1926. Part of the label is missing.

It weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz. (3.52 kg).
