W. H. GOSS “BIRMINGHAM” CRESTED CHINA MINIATURE TEAR BOTTLE.

 

Offered for sale is this charming W. H. Goss “Birmingham” crested china miniature model of a glass tear bottle found in a stone coffin discovered in the excavations for the railway near Caerleon in 1847, now in the Caerleon Museum.

 

It is offered for sale in very good condition with no chips or cracks, and is fully marked on the base with the W. H. Goss stamp. Needless to say there will be wear to the edges.
