This listing is for a vintage sterling silver shell-shaped  butter dish on 3 ball feet.  It is 7" x 7" and 1 1/4" tall.  It is made of heavy gauge silver weighing 5.39 troy ounces and it has no monograms or other engraving.   This piece is only hallmarked "sterling silver" with some other markings (WSHS, 9219) incised on the underside of the dish.  There is no maker's mark.  

Very Good used condition.  No distracting dings or dents and only light surface scratches from use and polishing.    I have only lightly polished this piece but it could use a more thorough polishing, especially the back.  Please see all pictures for details.
