Antique Flow Blue Plate c.1840 , made by Mellor & Venables & co, it is a beautiful Staffordshire flow blue plate,  it is made in Burslem Stoke on Trent Staffordshire , it is a Victorian period original English plate, it has the makers mark impressed on the underside , Mellor and Venables & co. Royal Patent, the mark has the royal crest. the company was open between 1834 to 1851.
