After a group of scientists discovers a new element - Indirogenium - they find themselves at the center of attention, nominated for a Nobel prize, and more famous than they ever could have imagined. Their discovery rapidly leads to a transformation in the energy sector, as the element is easy to produce and has an extremely high energy content. Lexa Rozeveld, one of the scientists, is thrilled about having contributed to the discovery of the most important energy source in the world, helping in stopping the exploitation of the earth.
However, every scientific discovery has its potential to be used in a negative way, and soon Lexa Rozeveld begins asking herself, wether they should have made their discovery public at all.
