MIRABELLE was launched in 1956.

The magazine was part of a wave of similar titles that appeared in the late 50s and early 60s such as Valentine, Marilyn, Marty, Roxy, Romeo and Serenade : all were trying to ride the wave of the booming interest in pop music and the increasing affluence of teenagers. The magazines featured a unique combination of romance, photo strip and comic strip stories plus coverage of Tv, film and pop music.
