Vintage late 1970s / early 1980s White Lace Wedding Dress. Column silhouette.

I am clearing out part of my vintage wedding dress collection.

Estimated modern XS / S and likely best for someone shorter/petite - but PLEASE see measurements to confirm and/or make your own best judgment call. Please keep in mind, when looking at the measurements, there really is not any stretch.

This dress was soaked / hand laundered, but will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. This will either be shipped in a large polymailer or folded and shipped in a box. Again, it will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed.

FEATURES:

Back Zip closure. Lined (except for the sleeves). Flowy cap sleeve material draped over the long lace sleeves. Draped sash interest on back. Back slit to make walking in the column silhouette easier. Lining appears to be doubled, but still not a very heavy dress.

Some bead and sequin detailing along the additional lace on the bodice (near the bust line)

There is a Feminine Plus bra safety pinned to the inside (which is why I would hazard this is late 1970s versus early 1980s).

COLOR: white with a very slight cream undertone due to lining. Lace appears to be pure white.

WOUNDS FROM TIME:

Discoloration on inside of shoulder / bust area (likely from makeup).

Some discoloration on lining of hem

A couple small imperfections in lace - see photos.

One small mark on draping in back.

MATERIAL: likely synthetic
