Description:  Five outstanding handmade Victorian lace doilies or coasters in a fine cotton thread.  Each is a round shape quite suitable for table or tea service display.  Please look at all of the photos including the two digital micrographs of the stitching beside a penny for size comparison. The final picture is a closeup of the cotton fibers in the thread.

Seller's Note:  These and other items like these came to us from one of our residents whose relatives had lived in the Philadelphia area since the 1600s.  The gift to our Fund is gratefully received and appreciated.  

Condition: Excellent antique condition.  No holes and no stains. Recently soaked to clean and dried flat on the back of a smooth salad plate.
