Published long after Lovecraft’s death in 1937, this is a collection of horror stories: two by Lovecraft (with August Derleth), some of Lovecraft’s early tales, several of his other short stories, and his Commonplace Book with ideas to be expanded.  Others of the “Divers Hands” include their observations and comments about Lovecraft’s writings, remembrances of their friendship with him, and poems in his honor.

Hardcover book in Very Good condition in Good dustjacket.  Book is clean and tightly bound, pages are crisp, with no writing; page edges a little tanned, fore-edge with a small tan spot.  Cover has light rubbing on front and back, lower corners are bumped, spine has some wear at top and bottom.  Dustjacket is intact, but with wear at edges, especially corners and spine ends, spine a little darkened, back tanned and with several small stains. 5 ¼ x 7 ¾ inches, 313 pages.  [22887-2405]
