This listing is for the early 1855 Becker's Ornamental Penmanship book, hardcover, paper over board, leather spine.

I believe this is a first edition. It is hardbound and measures 5-3/4 x 11-1/4".    30 thick, single-sided pages with script.   A couple more for title page and text.

This is an ex-library book (Franklin Institute). Top right of each page holds a hand stamp from the museum.    The last page has a dotted punched stamp on the bottom right from the museum.

CONDITION:  Complete and intact. Franklin Institute museum stamps throughout as shown. Front cover leather spine is cracked at hinges. Foxing. Amazing book to work with or collect. See listing description and photos.
