This is a rare sterling silver sugar tongs made by the Van Heusen Charles Company, The Van Heusen Charles Company produced mostly chinaware and some silverware in the late 1890s through the 1930.

I don't know the name of this pattern and when it was made. The inside is hallmarked "Sterling Can Heusen Charles Co." It measures 4 inches long and weighs 1.1 ounces.

It's in excellent condition with no indications of wear or any damage.
