I have owned it for just over 6 years , i brought it with only 41,000km on the clock and now it has just under 62,000km which is still very low. As you can see from the pictures its in very nice condition that being said this is a used old car so its not new but its a very nice example which gets lots of attention where ever it goes , you will struggle to find another like it for sale world wide never mind the UK while there are some other nice type r's available at the moment i think this is probably the only yellow version 3 for sale , i put the private reg on just before Christmas this will also stay fitted as its a nice addition.

I registered it here so i am the first owner log book stating 0 previous owners . Its a fairly standard car apart from a couple of modifications , a 3" stainless steel cat back exhaust ( still has original cat fitted ) , a set of cusco coilovers ( very firm ) , a set of fully refurbished 17" speedline alloys with nankang ar1 tyres , a whitline rear anti roll bar with drop links , defi boost gauge , hks turbo timer , parallel fuel rail setup, 3 port catch tank setup.

Last year it had some engine work which consisted of a new age ej207 semi closed deck short block , the v3 heads were sent off and fully cleaned pressure tested and re fitted to the new block with fuji racing stopper head gaskets, arp head studs , new inlet manifold gaskets, refurbished inlet manifold, injectors were flow tested and ultrasonic cleaned , new throttle body gasket , new cam seals, new timing belt kit , new water pump, and any other gaskets / seals it needed .

Its a very clean tidy car inside and out , interior is very nice , steering wheel and gear knob are as you would expect of a car with this millage , outside again is very clean and tidy , its not a concourse car but at the same time there isn't many in this condition on the roads. Underside i started to refurbish while the engine was out , it was all in very nice rust free condition so i treated it to a coat of raptor paint , i do have photos of the underside which i can provide to any potential buyers, if you really wanted to go the whole hog this car would be perfect for a full nut and bolt underside job with very minimal work needed on components to get it to that but its not something i had the intention of doing as i know i wouldn't want to use it once id gone that far.

This has been a brilliant car to own and i will miss it greatly , still shocks me now how good out of the box the type r is, with its dccd gearbox, very punchy turbo delivery and its weight distribution it makes for a very capable car , combined with how rare these are becoming now it would be a great addition to any serious car collectors collection, i have owned 20+ Impreza's over the years so i know how good this one is . It has recently had 12mths mot so is ready for the better weather , it would be great if this car went to someone that's going to enjoy it, sadly due to work commitments and other cars i own this one gets little use by me at the moment hence the sale, that being said i don't need  to sell , please don't send me silly offers, i am happy to listen to offers but over the phone in a conversation or face to face once you have viewed the car.
