This is for a beautiful antique Scottish buffalo horn snuff mull from the mid 1800s. It has a silver mounted hinged lid with a contrasting horn lid insert into the top, there is a round cartouche to the top and it has a shield shaped cartouche to the front for engraving, both are blank. The horn has a lovely, strong natural markings and the whole mull is in excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere. The horn has no cracks, the silver has no dents and the lid loses perfectly and seals as it should. It measures 70mm (2.75") tall by 38mm (1.5") in diameter at the top.
