Spawn 10 - 2020 Remastered Edition

In 2020 Dave Sim entirely remastered issue 10 of Spawn which he originally wrote the script for in 1992. For this new version Dave redrew all of the Cerebus figures (originally drawn by Todd McFarlane) as well as redrawing the "Kitchener sequence" of the issue in the way he originally imagined it. Completely remastered and featuring several variant covers. The interiors are printed in pristine black and white so you can see every line of Todd M. and Dave's art. See my other items for listings of some of the rarest items from the 2020 Kickstarter campaign.

This lot features rare variant covers:

One copy of the Deluxe variant, numbered 308/350, signed on the back cover by Dave Sim.  This version features a cover adapted from Dave Sim's new interior artwork for the remastered edition.  The interior of this version is the same as the regular edition (often the different variants feature unique artwork on the inside front or back covers).

One copy of the Supplement that features all of Dave Sim's new artwork for this issue seen before it was digitally added to the remastered issue as well as other behind the scene extras not featured in the regular edition.

One copy of the Grandma edition, numbered 53/195, sold on Halloween for 24 hours from the Waverly Press.

One copy of the Halloween edition, Artist Proof, sold on Halloween for 24 hours from Aardvark-Vanaheim (the Artist's Proofs were actually sold on November 10, 2020).  There were 106 artist's proofs printed, some were damaged, some were marked up and most were sent out to who knows where some 4 years later.  Each proof is unnumbered but signed by Dave Sim on the back cover (see photos).

I will be listing other rare items from the 2020 Remastered edition soon.

Thanks for stopping by.
