I believe it is copper it is non-magnetic possibly some brass or combination of both

the cord looks to be in great condition I am not sure of the age it came from a local estate it's a beautiful piece

it does have tarnish we have not cleaned it it could be cleaned and Polished we like the plethora we will leave that up to the new owners
