Selling a German  1811 Blucher pattern  officers / troopers sword by Alex Coppel of Solingen, with regimental stamps.

 Features plain steel pommel and unit stamped guard and langet, grip with worn bound leather handle, massively wide,  83.5cm long ( measuring straight from mid ricasso to point) blade manufacturer ALEX COPPEL and SOLINGEN stamped under langets, back edged date stamped W83, blade surface is near mint and metal still bright, scabbard with blued/ browned steel body and a S&K marked drag with regimental stamps to throat, overall condition is good. Big brute of a sabre, overall length of 95.5cm
