Grading of Comics

NM/MINT:  Probably never read. No noticble defects. Normal condition for age (yellowing of paper, etc)

VF/NM:  May have been read (carefully).  Will make most collectors very happy.  May have a minor spine crease.

FINE/VF:  Lightly read.  No rolled spine.  Flat and looks like new.  May have a few minor spine creases.  Still very acceptable in most collections.

FINE:  Looks read, but still flat, nice and with no major defects.  May have spine stress marks or other very minor defects.

VG/FINE:  Well read, but still good enough for a filler in a collection.  Some spine stress and other minor defects.

GOOD/VG:  Will have average wear and tear for a well read comic.  Cover will be clean and attached, but may be slightly loose.  May have small chipping or tears.  Mostly a reading copy.

GOOD or Worse:  I will generally not list this type of comic unless it is a very expensive book where even a poor condition copy may be desirable to some.  Defects will be noted.
