The thing that sets our bowls apart is the FINISH.  It's not a "dull wood" finish.  We have a special bees wax aging finish that we apply to all of our bowls.  It takes an already distressed bowl and makes it look OLD and WARM and very primitive.

And it STAYS that way for the life of the bowl.  It is smooth to the touch and it is beautiful.

EACH of our hand hewn bowls are Unique.  No Two are ever alike.  This is hand carved treenware trencher number 2932.  It's been carved out of one solid piece of (Mountain Pine) wood.  It is beautiful.

You will see carving marks in the wood. We leave those in for a more primitive look and simply distress and wax and seal them to blend beautifully with the surrounding patina.

And BECAUSE of the distressing/waxing process that we are put these through, they are NOT suitable for rolling dough or keeping raw foods in.

Measures 20 7/8" LONG & 8 5/8" WIDE.  It stands approx. 2 7/8" to 3" tall in the middle.  It weighs just shy of THREE Pounds.

The bowl you SEE is the EXACT one you will RECEIVE.
