Antique Delinieres & Co Limoges France 1879 Gilt Gold Florals Porcelain Vanity Tray measuring 8 by 10 1/2 inches and is in excellent antique condition free of chips etc. wear to the gilding which is usual on a piece of this age. It’s a transfer-ware piece which requires the highest quality porcelain as it involves two firings in the kiln. Beautiful delicate florals in pink cool blue and touches of light brown, it’s a gorgeous antique French Country vanity tray. The marks on the back indicate 1879 as the date of manufacturing and the maker and location (reference~Kovels New Dictionary of Marks).
