I purchased this model from a private collection that was entered at an auction house. The vendor was in the room and advised that many of the sets he was selling were new and unused but please note that I have NOT personally tested this train.

I fully believe this train has never been used or removed from its box as it was securely wrapped in its original plastic protection within the inner packaging.
