This listing is for Klipsch owners who want to refresh/restore a system they already own, by replacing/upgrading a section that is not working correctly or is missing: the Klipsch ProMedia 4.1/v.2-400 amplifier and/or volume control pod preamplifier is/are in excellent working condition. Buyer may select just the amplifier, or only the preamplifier pod, or both (if still available). The preamplifier volume control pod, which is needed to operate the amplifier, mounts beneath a satellite speaker. 60 day warranty is provided. Sub enclosure, replacement 6.5" sub drivers, and satellite speakers are not included, but are available, if interested. The ProMedia 4.1 system has a combination of power, clarity and compact size that is very hard to find in the current consumer audio market. The v.2-400 and 4.1 versions of amplifier panel and control pod are interchangeable. The only significant difference is with the control pods: the 4.1's control pod adds a mute button (looks like a power button, but only mutes the sound) and adds two jacks on the side: one for headphones, and the other for auxiliary input. As of May 17, 2024, the pod that is available is the v.2-400 version. (Ebay can only calculate a fixed weight for this listing, so if you buy only a control pod, the shipping will cost less and you will receive a partial refund for excess shipping charged).

transaction). If you use my provided Fed Ex label and drop the box at a Fed Ex Office,
the refund is $34. ($50 refund if you pay the return shipping on the core). You
may reuse my box & packaging.
If sending only amplifier panel: A $12 core refund is available for
shipping just a panel if using my label. ($30 refund if you pay the shipping
cost).
If sending only volume control pod: A $20 refund is available for
mailing back an old control pod for core refund.

If your bass is weak or distorted, you likely need the two 6.5" subwoofer drivers replaced. I have refoamed original speakers in a different listing, 234749027194), along with photos showing how to remove the grills to check the condition of the foam surrounds (which crumble when deteriorated). Avoid non-Klipsch 6.5" replacements! Klipsch's are 6 ohm (the other 4 ohm and 8 ohm speakers offered on ebay do not match), and other speakers will not allow use of the Klipsch grills.
