Early signed label Earl Scruggs banjo, #1069. made in 1987.   looks, sounds, and plays great. 3 ply maple rim,   figured maple neck and resonator. no buckle rash. frets and fingerboard are excellent  Elite Amber head,  1/2" bridge, spikes at 7,9, and 10. deluxe locking case.  a few   imperfections, but no repairs needed.  Fingerboard, neck, and frets are excellent.  nice mellow gold color
