This is a new - old stock Wilson first base mitt/glove. Model: A2800 - 1883 . Size: 13 inch . While Wilson’s lesser gloves are made in Vietnam

, Korea and China.... Wilson’s finest gloves were, and still are made in Japan, as this glove was. Wilson history lesson: in the beginning, for many many years highest-end Fielding Gloves had the designation A2000, Catcher Gloves had the designation A2400 and first base gloves had the designation A2800 , it wasn’t till the late 90s that they started slapping the most popular “A2000” on all top tier pieces. This exact 1883 pattern was replicated by Mizuno, Rawlings , Nokona, etc…prized for larger size. This one obviously just never got used. Small nicks and abrasions from sitting around for many years.
