Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Five (HC-5) was a United States Navy squadron that was responsible for providing logistical support and air transportation services to naval forces during the Vietnam War and other military operations.

HC-5 was activated in 1967 and operated a variety of helicopters, including the CH-46 Sea Knight, the UH-46 Sea Knight, and the HH-46 Sea Knight. These helicopters were used to transport troops, equipment, and supplies to and from naval vessels, well as to provide medical evacuation services.

During the Vietnam War, HC-5 operated from bases in both Vietnam and the Philippines. The squadron's helicopters were used to transport troops and supplies to and from ships operating in the waters off Vietnam, as well as to provide medical evacuation services for wounded personnel.
