This is my Bulova week. No not watch sales, but the transistor radios that Bulova sold in jewelry stores in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Here's the 270, introduced by Bulova in 1956 as its second radio following the 250 (which was a Regency TR-1 clone). The 270 is a Raytheon T-101 clone.

This example is in typical shoddy condition, missing the strap and rear tabs. The leatherette back that is so stiff that I dare not open it all the way. (Most of these have a backs that have fallen off.) I did peek inside and found the orignal battery still inside. There is an inscription on the back. Included is the box, and paperwork, part of which has been separated.

I have been collecting transistor radios and TVs for more than 25 years, and am now "thinning" my collection. Most are like new in the box, so keep an eye on my auctions!

Shipping as stated is for residents of the continental USA. I will also gladly ship this outside the USA via the eBay Global Shipping Program, but if you reside outside the USA, please check if your country is on the eligible list before bidding. If you win more than one radio, I am happy to combine packaging to save postage, but please message me after the auctions before paying so I can send a discounted Invoice.
