This antique wood towel holder is a beautiful piece that shows the Flemish art form, pyrogravure, which is wood burning, Pyrography.    It has poinsettias in black, brown, rose, and tan colors. Measuring 19"x6.5 inches,  The towel holder is an original piece from 1911, marked on the back and  signed by the artist. I can't quite make out the name, possibly, Merry, Hana, the year 1911 is clear, and Wilmia, Wilnia or Wiluia?  In very good antique condition, especially for 113 years old.  Some worn areas on corners, please see photos. The story for this piece of history is that the daughter of the woman who created this, mentioned that her mother made this in 1911.
