African Mask for Rituals/Decorative Mask - looks like Batman Transformer - 1990s

This title is full of educated guesses. It could also be Mexican. I am saying the Rituals thing based on another description I read of a very similar item (below). I am the one who thinks it looks like a Batman Transformer. And I'm thinking 1990s just because that makes sense to me based on the research I've done on the 50 masks I've recently acquired and I'm now selling. This mask MIGHT be from one of the countries of west Africa. It might also be from Mexico. I just do not see these colors (red and silver) in African masks. Otherwise, I'd definitely say this mask is from Guinea, Sierra Leone or Liberia (in that order). I could spend weeks doing this research. I am going to leave it with: THIS MASK IS REALLY EXCELLENT. And I'm back full circle to Batman Transformer. As good a description as I have.

This is part of another eBayer's description on a very similar mask: "African Mask Antique Carved Toma Landai Tribal Ceremonial Mask - A Toma or Landai mask carved by hand in early times can be found in Guinea, Africa. They were worn by the men's Poro Society during the initiation process of boys becoming men. The boys were engulfed by the African mask in a terrifying ritual and emerged as men shortly after."
