Original 1880's trade card and illustrated envelope (cover). The two items advertise The Curtis Patent Damper Regulator manufactured by The Curtis Regulator Company, 59 Beverly Street, Boston, Massachusetts. There is a lot of information about the product on the back of the trade card. The cover (envelope) has a nice illustration as well. An old one cent postage stamp is tied to the cover with a "Boston Mass" cancellation.

The trade card measures about 6 inches tall and about 3 and one-quarter inches wide. The illustrated cover measures about 3 and one-half inches tall and about 6 inches wide

The trade card was safely stored for about 140 years in the envelope and is therefore in mint condition. The envelope is if pretty good condition except for a small tear in upper left front corner. The flap of the envelope is present but glued down inside the envelope.

I will be listing many other Victorian Trade Cards, and other paper items, from a huge 40 year old collection so please check out my other e-bay listings.
