1901 Solid Silver Mustard Pot, with a Good Hinged Lid and an acanthus pattern handle, together with a matched spoon.

The Mustard pot has full English Hallmarks for Walker & Hall. Sheffield 1901.

The solid silver little spoon is a matched Pinder Brothers and is later date.

In fair pre-loved and used antique condition with light salt corrosion to the inside of the pot. Missing the finial to the lid, which appears to have been professionally sanded and ground to a smooth surface. Obviously very loved, the scalloping shell detail is not as crisp as it once was due to lovingly polishing. Slight misshaping to the lid rim edge near the spoon side.

The spoon bowl has salt corrosion as can be seen in my photographs.

This is beautiful antique English Silver, with its own history and character. If you like items to be as new this, unfortunately, will not be right for you.

Measurements approximately:

Height to the top of the handle: 4.5cm (1.3/4”)

Weight: 44.88g

I have given it a quick wipe over, but as with all my items I don't over clean or polish. There may be the odd age related wear/mark commensurate with age, anything of note is listed above.
