1896 Victorian Solid Sterling Silver Round Pedestal Bowl

Full English Sterling Silver Hallmarks for Edwin Charles Purdie London 1896.

Edwin Charles Purdie was only in business from 1883 to 1896, therefore this is quite a rare mark.

Lovely little bowl with fold over top lip, and standing on a round base. Fabulous for strawberries & cream.

Presented in very good pre-loved and used antique condition with some age related marks and one very small bruise. No splits, tears or repairs.

Measurements approximately:

Height: 5cm (2”)

Diameter at the top: 7.5cm (3”)

Diameter at the bottom: 4.5cm (1.3/4”)

Weight: 71.29g

This piece is already in circulation meaning no new silver has been used. The ultimate in sustainable shopping.
