- Beautiful REDDISH PRETTY BONE (bovine) handles SAW CUT - no chips or cracks. Amazing red, mottled coloring.
- Nickel silver bolsters - very light dings
- Brass liners and backsprings - clean/no spots
- Chrome vanadium steel blades - I don't see any spots on blades - normal blade rubs
- Tight blades - hard snap - ever so slight wobble main blade
- Never used, carried or sharpened (factory edge)
- Beautiful, old knife
- For those who have followed my auctions the last few months you know that I've listed dozens of Barlows from all pre-1970 eras. I love the heavy feel and thick bone on these knives. For 5 decades I bought just about every one I came across - especially those that had a little different twist in presentation. This is one of the few I've seen with a spear master and in the front position.
