Ford Capri Mk3 V8

Fitted with a Rover 3.5 V8 removed from an SD1 coupled up with an LT77 gearbox. Offenhauser intake and Holley carb. Kenlow thermostat the an electric fan on an uprated aluminium radiator. Custom exhausts downpipes going into Janspeed back boxes. The clutch has been converted to allow use of the LT77 hydraulic system and have had a custom propshaft fabricated to meet the original differential. There is a knock from the diff but it has done so for many years.
JBW RS4 spoke Wheels and tyres are still relatively new but sadly the diamond cut has started to show slight signs of marking. Suspension on the rear is on 2' lowering blocks and with a full tank of fuel the rear arches will rub, arches could be rolled or blocks removed. Front springs are 1.5' lower but clearance doesn't seem to be an issue.
Respray was carried out around two years ago in a three stage pearl with new front wings fitted and repairs/replacement parts as required, plenty of photos to document what was done. Colour looks lovely especially in the sun. I do have the paint code for any more paint as required. Sadly a few months ago it received a whack into the drivers door as pictured and no repair has yet been carried out and I've noticed some minor blemishes that might require a touch up if you're being picky.
New interior carpet and headlining has been fitted, door cards have been painted in vinyl paint, seats could however do with being refreshed as well as the dash which has some bubbling and a crack. Stereo is period correct and is bluetooth compatible. I've got a brooklands steering wheel in very good condition not yet fitted.
Overall this is a useable classic but it does require some TLC and some finishing off the make perfect so please bare this in mind. Door card clips need replacing, sunroof needs adjusting, dash repair etc. Ive owned her now for around 12 years but since respraying its been parked up and very rarely used so its come time to part ways.

Bank transfer on collection and viewing is highly recommended as this isn’t a brand new car, as stated could do with a few weekends spent doing a bit of work.

Any questions please ask.
