I have been an Iron Maiden fan since 87 and over the years have accumulated a huge collection of various memorabilia.

Due to serious illness I had to start selling items as I started to take more and more time off work, being a self employed plasterer with my own business for the last 20 years getting sick pay was not an option.

I started making the odd Eddie figure for fun and then commissioned work. When I left school I went to college to study Art and Design and originally saw my career on this path, but with one thing and another that didn't work out, but at the beginning of this year I was at a crossroads. Multiple Sclerosis had taken its toll and I could no longer keep working in the construction business, so I decided to go for it and concentrate on making custom figures.

So in the most bizarre circumstances, getting seriously ill has put me doing what I absolutely love. It is the only positive thing to come out of having MS but I will take it.
