This vintage skirt set embodies the timeless elegance of the 1940s with its beautiful rose dark floral print and tailored look. The top and skirt, both from Le Style Franglais brand, are so beautiful - I wish they fit me, but sadly are too small. There is no size tag that I can find, so please carefully check the measurements included in the photographs. I would suggest it best for a UK 6 to 8, as the waist on the skirt is rather little.
It is super hard to find any info on this brand but I am guessing its 1940s as the only other items I have found online from the brand are from around the same time, and share the same label design/type etc. I'm always happy to learn, so if I'm wrong please feel free to write and tell me :)
The set consists of a wrap-style cardigan top and a matching, pleated skirt. Such a rare and beautiful find. Hope it can find a loving new home!
In very good, vintage condition with only flaw that I have noticed being a small pull in the fabric near the waistband of the skirt - which I have photographed.
