This is a beautiful well crafted wooden coffin style violin case for a full size violin.
‘T Carman 114 Newgate Street’ is imprinted on the lock - see photo.
78 x 25 cm approx.
The finish is Mahogany with brass fittings.
There are cracks and some damage to the veneer - please study the photos.
It would be a great project for someone to restore.
