This is a Vintage CINDERELLA'S CASTLE 1985 PHOTO Architectural Details DISNEYLAND MAGIC KINGDOM
The chief designer of the castle, Herbert Ryman, also referenced the original design for the castle in the film franchise Cinderella and his own well-known creation—the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in California.
While the base of the castle resembles a medieval fortress typifying the Romanesque architecture and castles of the 11th through 13th centuries, the upper portion of the castle reflects the stately Gothic forms that were prominent in later centuries.
Cinderella Castle appears to be made of white and grey stone with royal blue roofs on each turret; the tops of several towers and two of the tallest spires are made with real gold and gold leaf.
