For Sale: Humminbird Helix9 setup, used.  This system was last used May 9 2024 beforebeing removed from service.  The picturewith side imaging/ down imaging/ sonar/ and navigation was taken right before Ipowered it off to be removed.  The leftside for side imagine is faint because I had my motor all the way down.  I had to trim the motor up a bit to see side imagingon the port side based on where the transducer was mounted and I forgot to do that when I took the picture.

This system comes with the following Humminbird products…

•        Helix 9 MSI GPS 3GN ($700 and up on secondary websites,the current model on Humminbird is a 4GN at $1099).  This is not a 4GN this is a 3GN for sale.  This is the price with the SI/DI transducer.
•        Side imaging & sonar splitter cable 490476-2($43 on website)
•        High speed dual spectrum CHIRP sonar w/ temperaturetransducer XNT 9 HW T ($109 on website)
•        Down imaging / side imagine transducer XM 9 HWMSI T ($429 on website if purchased separately, but would be part of the $700price above in a bundle)
•        Dash mount kit 410739-1 ($69 on website)
•        Includes Navionics lake maps for the US North East(PREM-E6 ver 237.27 EAST) ($50 and up)

This system has a couple issues that you need to be aware of before you bid…

•        It will randomly power off when you hit waves whiledriving.  You can immediately power itback on.  I had checked for looseconnections and didn’t find any.  Myguess is it might be a wire or connection inside the head unit, but I never wanted to openthe unit to investigate.  It wouldprobably be ok on calmer bodies of water, or used while stopped forfishing.  Anyone with some electrical experiencecould probably diagnose and fix the issue if they wanted. 
•        The down imaging / side imaging transducer cablewas cut in a few places.  From what Icould see 1 individual wire was severed. I wrapped the area with electrical tape, heat shrink, and a bunch of zipties.  The down imaging / side imaging continued to workfine.  On my boat that area was partiallysubmerged.  Someone with technicalknowhow could probably splice it and do a better job with it than I did.

This auction only comes with what’s shown.  If you don’t see it, it’s not there.  Notably, there are no screws at all, and itonly includes the dash mount, it does not include the flush mount bracket ifyou want it to sit on top of your dash.  Thatpart is available on websites but I just don’t have it.

All of this new today would be about $950, but keep in mindthere are a couple issues that you may want to address.  This is sold as-is with no warranty and norefunds.
