On offer is this antique Victorian Wedgwood bottle vase.
Very decorative and very much of its era, it sees two two-toned blue floral chintz bandings to the neck and foot, the body is decorated with chrysanthemums which have hand painted colour and gilt highlighting.  A gilt and maroon/red banding to the body and gilt trims to the foot and rim.
The base carries the 19th century impressed 'WEDGWOOD' mark - the absence of 'ENGLAND' assures us that it pre-dates 1891.  Next to the impressed mark is the impressed 3 letter date cypher, in this case 'ADV' - which is an April, 1867 manufacture.  See photos 8 & 9 and also https://www.thepotteries.org/mark/w/wedgwood-date.html
Stands 25.2cm height.
In good antique condition - glaze does show fine micro age related crazing.  A little rub in spots but good for its age.  Please consider photos.
