This is for a lovely antique Victorian vesta case fashioned as an owl. It has good detailing to the feathers on the front and back and the head is hinged to open backwards. It has a grooved plate on the base for striking the matches and it is made from nickel plated brass. It is in excellent condition with no dents just surface wear as shown and the lid is tight and snappy. It has green glass eyes and it measures 60mm (2.3") tall by 35mm (1.3") by 20mm (0.3") deep.
