1973 Ossa 250 SDR. I bought this bike in 2022 from the Jim Hoellerich museum/collection sale. It had been in the collection for 35-40 years with 1328 original miles and needed to be re-restored. I owned and rode one of these in the 70's and loved it. I brought it back to my shop, disassembled and re-restored it from 2022-2023. This process included polishing all the aluminum and other bright work, rebuilding the front forks with new seals, replacing all rubber including, tires, tubes, seals, gaskets, carb manifold, etc. etc. I rebuilt the amal carburetor, replaced old fiberglass fuel tank with a new one from Spain, recovered the seat. checked the engine internals and transmission/clutch. This bike is like the day it was manufactured from top to bottom. It starts on the first or second kick every time and rides like new. As you can see from the photos, nothing was spared. this bike is perfect in every way.
this bike has never been titled and will be sold as off road on bill of sale only. It will be up to the buyer to title and register it for road use if he chooses.
