MEXICAN Coconut Folk Art Mask: TRULY UNIQUE Hand-Painted, VINTAGE!
Should I have called this one Eyelashes Dude with Sunburn?
It's rather small, if you don't count the leafy-looking parts coming out like hair. It's painted in many colors.

The Folk Art Coconut Mask from Mexico is a thing. I am selling this estate's entire decorative mask collection. There will be others, like this one if you are wandering around my eBay store. It is such a cool style. This one, and all of them, are about 4.5" in diameter at the coconut. The coconut is 3" deep, but the leafy things and other pieces add size to it.

This one has spiky, curled-at-the-ends seed-looking things on his cheeks and chin. And big leaf-looking things coming out like hair--also made of some kind of organic thing, painted different colors. There's just real interesting detail all over this coconut mask. I urge you to zoom in. He's really nicely painted and designed. I mean, I kind of think the artist may have been on drugs, but still able to do interesting work with paint and shells.
I do like how the coconut masks usually have a mouth that is a circle. it gives them a funny face.
