Vintage 1952 Blatz Beer Bottle Waiter Advertising Cast Metal Sign Original.

Up for auction is this vintage and original unique piece of advertising for Blatz Beer. The neck of the bottle is marked 1952 B.B. Co. (Blatz Brewing Company.) The sign is still nice and tightly connected to the mug on his serving tray. The sign reads ...it's draft-brewed *pasteurized in bottles and cans BLATZ at LOCAL PRICES and B-352 in the bottom left corner. Plasto MFG Chicago on the bottom of the stand. "Plasto Manufacturing Company was founded in 1945 by Joseph M. Borowitz. The company was located in Chicago, Illinois, USA and originally manufactured and sold hand painted, plaster cast wall hangings. By the mid 1960's, the company was a leading manufacturer of lamps and advertising displays." I would say overall good condition to the item, especially given the age. Some loss near the neck of the bottle, just cosmetic. Hand has all fingers, foot connected firmly to the stand. The item measures roughly 18 1/2 inches tall.
