Item Description

Jennifer “Jennie” Wright, (American, 1838-1922), Art Pottery charger decorated with dogwood blossoms & bird. Signed with inscribed signature verso. Measures 12” diameter. Condition: Excellent condition. Jennie E. Wright exhibited at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She is also listed in "The American Salon: The Art Gallery at the Chicago Interstate Industrial Exposition 1873-1890, Vol. II", by Kirsten M. Jensen, 2007. There is also an auction result for a set of Atlan Ceramic Arts Club plates that is signed “Wright” that may also be the work of this artist.
